ERNEST IZARD
Ernest Izard, a native Texan, joins us as a volunteer, bringing extensive experience in supporting disadvantaged communities. He will support our national prayer ministry and work with counselors in Uganda to prepare children for productive lives.
Ernest has been a pastor, educator, national trainer, and consultant. He has also helped launch a theology school in Siberia and tested a listening skill model for evangelism in Ukraine.
He was married to his first wife, Anne, for 42 years, with whom he has two children and four grandchildren. After Anne's passing in 2016, he married Camille Simmons in September 2020.
For the past 18 years, Ernest has focused on trauma ministry, developing a church-based program to aid abuse survivors. His guiding scripture is Philippians 3:10: "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death..."
BILL ARNOLD
Bill Arnold, the Aviation Director at Amigos Internacionales, has a long history of service in ministry and missions. Married to Margaret, he has two children and four grandchildren.
Bill dedicated 30 years to the Texas Baptist Missions Foundation as President, raising funds for new churches and various mission projects. He holds an MA in Education from Southwestern Seminary and a CFP from the College for Financial Planning.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Bill's faith journey began at age eight. An avid pilot since 15, he enjoys flying his favorite planes, a Piper Cub and a Cessna 210, for a change of pace.
Bill's passion for missions is evident in his work, encouraging others to invest in God's kingdom. His advice: "Giving to missions is an investment in God's kingdom and makes a lasting impact."
Ugandan Director of Operations
Patrick Kibwota is a dedicated Social Worker with over five years of experience in child care, protection, and skill-based teaching. Since 2017, he has served as the Ugandan Operations Director for Amigos Internacionales, Inc., where he leads the operations team in financial compliance, procurement, logistics, administration support, events, and field support.
Patrick is also the School Administrator of Open Hands Academy, established in 2020 in Ogul Village, providing low-cost quality education to rural children. His passion for young people’s development and community collaboration is evident in his extensive track record of successful work and leadership roles. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Development Studies from Gulu University.
Southern Uganda Director
Affectionately called the "Chuck Norris" of Uganda by his American peers, Moses is one of the newest team members to join Amigos Internacionales.
Amigos Sponsorship Coordinator
Chris has been an integral part of Amigos Internacionales for the past six months, serving as our primary liaison between sponsors and the children. As the main Child Sponsorship Coordinator, he works closely with families and conducts life skills classes for students between semesters. Chris's dedication and expertise make him our go-to person for ensuring the success of our ministry efforts.

Gloria has been a dedicated member of the Amigos Internacionales team for the past three years. In her role, she focuses on identifying and coordinating the sponsorship of children in need, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their education and well-being. Gloria's commitment and effectiveness in her work have been instrumental to our mission, and she continues to excel in helping us achieve our goals.
