ERNEST IZARD

Director of Ministry Care

Ernest Izard, a native Texan, joins us as a volunteer, bringing extensive experience in supporting disadvantaged communities. He will support our national prayer ministry and work with counselors in Uganda to prepare children for productive lives.

Ernest has been a pastor, educator, national trainer, and consultant. He has also helped launch a theology school in Siberia and tested a listening skill model for evangelism in Ukraine.

He was married to his first wife, Anne, for 42 years, with whom he has two children and four grandchildren. After Anne's passing in 2016, he married Camille Simmons in September 2020.

For the past 18 years, Ernest has focused on trauma ministry, developing a church-based program to aid abuse survivors. His guiding scripture is Philippians 3:10: "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death..."

BILL ARNOLD

Aviation Director

Bill Arnold, the Aviation Director at Amigos Internacionales, has a long history of service in ministry and missions. Married to Margaret, he has two children and four grandchildren.

Bill dedicated 30 years to the Texas Baptist Missions Foundation as President, raising funds for new churches and various mission projects. He holds an MA in Education from Southwestern Seminary and a CFP from the College for Financial Planning.

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Bill's faith journey began at age eight. An avid pilot since 15, he enjoys flying his favorite planes, a Piper Cub and a Cessna 210, for a change of pace.

Bill's passion for missions is evident in his work, encouraging others to invest in God's kingdom. His advice: "Giving to missions is an investment in God's kingdom and makes a lasting impact."
