Have you ever thought about how crucial clean water is? In places like Uganda and Tanzania, access to clean water is a major challenge. Imagine having to walk miles every day just to find water, which isn't even safe to drink. It's a reality for millions of people.


Contaminated water leads to all sorts of health issues, especially for kids. They miss school, fall behind, and their futures get dimmer. The lack of clean water also makes it tough for communities to thrive, as it impacts agriculture and overall health.


But there's hope! WE are working hard to bring clean water to these areas, drilling wells, setting up purification systems, and educating people about sanitation. Every effort brings us a step closer to a world where everyone has access to this basic, vital resource.

Waterborne Diseases

In Uganda and Tanzania, the lack of access to clean water leads to widespread waterborne diseases like cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. These illnesses are particularly dangerous for young children and can cause severe dehydration, malnutrition, and even death. Improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities is crucial for preventing these diseases and promoting overall community health.

School Attendance

Many children in Uganda and Tanzania miss school because they have to spend hours each day fetching water for their families. This time-consuming chore, combined with frequent illness from drinking contaminated water, leads to poor school attendance and performance. Ensuring access to clean water close to homes and schools can significantly boost attendance rates and help children stay healthy and focused on their education.

Agricultural Productivity

Clean water is essential for agriculture, which is a primary source of income in both Uganda and Tanzania. Without reliable access to clean water, farmers struggle to irrigate their crops, leading to poor yields and food insecurity. This hampers economic growth and keeps communities trapped in poverty. By improving water infrastructure, farmers can increase their productivity, ensure food security, and drive economic development in their regions.

What we've done so far

This time, previously spent fetching water, is now redirected towards education and other productive activities. The availability of clean water has led to better overall community health, with noticeable improvements in hygiene and sanitation practices.
